Gator Jack

This 2011 mare retired after her last start on 3/3/18 when she sustained a small bowed tendon. With over 2 years off, Gator has fully healed with no limitations. Contrary to the stigma against chestnut mares, I would trust Gator completely with someone inexperienced both on the ground or under saddle. She has helped giving beginner lessons on the lungeline and loose in an arena.

Gator went to a training foster for a time and has recently come back to us. She has unfortunately been recovering from a 1/4 crack to her front hoof that  has been getting proper care since returning to us early April 2020. Until this crack is fully grown out she is available into a home with a solid client history with a farrier confident with a similar crack.

Despite the current maintenance, Gator Jack moves sound and can continue training while recovering. She has been ridden both english and western as well as ponied several green thoroughbreds around the farm without hesitation. She is solid as a trail horse but would be just as happy being in the ring or in a XC course. Gator is suited for any level of rider but as with all horses, direction is needed for beginers.

Updated photos to come.
