While improvements have been made in rehoming and the aftercare of Thoroughbreds, there is still much to be done. Unfortunately, there are areas of the country that lack resources and as a result, Thoroughbreds are finding themselves in the slaughter pipeline.
NTWO attempts to intercept horses by getting them directly off the track. We also monitor livestock auctions for Thoroughbreds who are in jeopardy. NTWO works to place the Thoroughbreds in the hands of sport horse trainers and owners. We will pull from all available resources to be a comprehensive welfare organization that protects racing's greatest asset [the horse] for the overall benefit of the sport.
Below are options to make a secure donation to NTWO. NTWO is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the welfare and aftercare of Thoroughbreds in the racing industry, and your donation is tax-deductible pursuant to applicable laws.
